  • Dylan - my advice on the flats is... JUST KEEP TRYING!

Took me ages to find a place in London, but you'll get there in the end!

Katarina Jankovic London seems to be a little different to Tunbridge Wells though. I think outside of student areas and London, furnished flats are quite difficult to come by. Dylan, try rightmove.co.uk. You can adjust the categories of what you are looking for, one of which are the furnished/unfurnished options.244 days ago
  • Friends of mine have had found citysocialising.com really useful and a great way to meet other young professionals. The site organises bar crawls and meetings in pubs etc, which is a great way for young people, on their own in a new city, to meet other people in the same situation. The only problem is that the site only caters for specific cities, however all of the larger cities are there! Good luck!

Tips for graduates relocating for a job/internship, in various areas such as accomodation and social life.

There are no announcements yet.
The Guardian has recently stated that according to a source nearly half of the internships in the UK are unpaid. While arguably the future benefits of getting some work experience are valuable, some commentators have stated that the practice of unpaid internship may be negative for graduates coming from poorer backgrounds. What do you think of this?
