A new sales and support centre for international expatriate health insurer Bupa International has opened in Fuengirola, near Malaga, southern Spain.

Located on Avda. Nuestro Padre Jesus Cautivo, the new walk-in centre has more than doubled in size, and the expanded team of 11 staff now supports Bupa International and ihi Bupa customers in Spain and Gibraltar, as well as distributors in Europe, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa.

Bupa pioneered expatriate health insurance in 1971 and now has more than 800,000 customers in 190 countries. It has a network of more than 7,500 hospitals and clinics around the world, a multilingual helpline, and a 24-hour worldwide emergency medical centre based in Copenhagen.
