This year’s Independent Schools Show, which is being held on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October, is a great opportunity for relocating families to see more than 130 of the UK’s independent schools under one roof.

The show provides a relaxed environment in which to meet representatives of different schools, shortlist your favourites, and listen to talks and seminars by leading education experts.

Speakers, who will include Ben Thomas (HM, Thomas’s Day Schools), Barnaby Lenon (HM, Harrow) and Ralph Lucas (Good Schools Guide), will cover such topics as How to choose the right school, Single Sex vs Co-ed and Preparing your child for secondary school – a closer look at the 11+ and 13+ Entrance Examinations.

The children’s play area will feature Halloween tea parties, cake making, a bouncy castle, and what the organisers have dubbed ‘a whole host of spooky entertainment’.
