ACS Egham International School has announced the appointment of a new head of school, Jeremy Lewis, who joins from Istanbul International Community School, where he has been headmaster since 2005.

Mr Lewis, who has also worked at the International School Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, has extensive experience of developing International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. He succeeds Moyra Hadley, who held the post for 11 years to 2009, and Peter Hosier, who acted as interim head for the 2009/2010 academic year and remains with the school as middle-school principal.

Charlie Freer, managing director of ACS International Schools, says, “ACS Egham is one of just four IB World Schools in the UK to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes, and we look forward to working with Jeremy to build on the achievements of his predecessors and lead the school to even greater heights.”
