TASIS, the American School in England, has named Michael V O’Brien, currently head of Baylor School, Chattanooga, Tennessee, as its new head.

Mr McBrien, who will take up the post in July, has a master’s degree in Education from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling, Psychology and Communication from the University of Northern Colorado.

He has 24 years' experience in education, and has worked as an administrator at the University of California, Berkeley, Babson College, near Boston, and Frontier Academy, in Colorado.
